Delete your SiteAsaan account
You can delete your account in the app, or ask us to by email. Either way it happens 30 days later, and signing in before then cancels it.
In the app
- Open SiteAsaan and go to Profile.
- Open Your data and safety.
- Tap Delete account, read what is removed and what is kept, and confirm.
You are signed out on every phone straight away. If marks you made are still waiting to send, the app says so first: delete once they have gone, or they are lost.
Without the app
Write to privacy@siteasaan.app with the phone number you sign in with, and the company you work for. We confirm with you, by a call or a WhatsApp message to that number, before anything is removed. The 30 days start once it is confirmed.
What happens
- Removed in 30 days
- Your name, phone number and password. Signing in before then cancels it.
- Kept by the company
- The attendance and pay records for days already worked, with your name taken off.
- If you own the company
- Your account and the company go together: its sites, its people and every record. Supervisors, workers and thekedars can no longer open it. Export everything first, from Profile → Your data and safety.
- Right away
- You are signed out.
Copies in our provider's backups are overwritten as the backups roll over.
Added by a supervisor, never signed up?
Your records belong to the company that pays you. Ask them, or write to us at privacy@siteasaan.app and we will take it up with them.
